What is child labour?

Child labour is work that deprives children of their child hood, their potential and their dignity, and is harmful to their physical and mental development.

Any work that is harmful physically and mentally to the child.

To ensure provision of social protection services with access to education.

To ensure provision of social protection services with access to life skills.

To ensure provision of  programmes to prevent children from child labour.

To ensure provision of vocational skills for school dropouts.

To ensure enforcement of laws.

Child labour is prevalent in informal households and agricultural sectors.
